The East of England Clinical Senate

is recruiting Council Members – do come and join us!

“It is a pleasure to contribute and participate in the Clinical Senate and

welcome those who are passionate about shaping and improving services locally to

consider joining the team.” Stuti Mukherjee

The East of England Clinical Senate Council is a diverse multi-professional ‘steering’ group of around 30 members, led by an independently appointed chair, covering the six Integrated Care Systems within the East of England region.

One of its core functions is to support commissioners/providers with the fully independent and impartial clinical advice necessary to inform service transformation and make the best decisions about health and care for the populations they serve.

Membership of the Council encompasses the ‘birth to death’ spectrum of NHS care at all clinical and non-clinical grades and includes Experts by Experience (patient/carer and citizen representatives).  We are currently particularly keen to recruit individuals working in primary, secondary or community settings to represent the following professions:

      • Social Work
      • Pharmacy
      • Nursing
      • Womens & Children’s Services
      • Healthcare Science
      • Workforce

Joining the Senate Council at this particularly exciting time for health and care will provide an exceptional opportunity for collaborative working with a wide variety of professionals and develop your leadership/strategic thinking skills, whilst personally contributing to improving local services and patient outcomes.
