Anna Morgan

Director of Nursing & Quality

Anna Morgan (RGN, Dip HE, BSc Hons, MA) is Director of Nursing & Quality at Norfolk Community Health & Care NHS Trust and has held this position for the last seven years. Anna has over thirty years’ experience in nursing mainly in the NHS, five years working in the private Care Home sector and two years in the Department of Health. Although Anna has managed a variety of services across Adults, Children’s and Specialist pathways Anna’s area of clinical expertise is within Gerontology. She is passionate about older peoples’ care and the care for people with dementia. In her current role Anna is responsible for the promotion and delivery of the quality agenda and to provide expert nursing advice to the Trust Board with executive responsibility for; CQC and Ofsted; she is the Freedom to Speak Up Guardian; the Caldicott Guardian; and is the executive lead for Safeguarding Adults & Children. The core values of high quality patient care Anna held as a ward nurse have remained constant and in her role as a Director they are paramount in any decision making. Anna has a keen interest in Coaching and Leadership Development and has undertaken formal training which she believes has benefited her approach both in building her own resilience and for developing staff.
