Senate Assembly

The Assembly is the wider membership body of the Clinical Senate.  The Assembly provides the Council with access to a broad range of experts from across the East of England who, when their skills and experience fit the topic in question, will be invited to join expert clinical review panels to respond to requests for independent clinical advice.

The Assembly encompasses the full range of clinical professions, the 'birth to death' spectrum of NHS care and settings.   Assembly membership is also open to non-health care professionals (i.e. social workers, experienced commissioners, health managers, academics and trainee/student health professionals) and patient and carer representatives (our 'Experts by Experience').

There is no minimum or maximum number of members on this virtual body and no specified length of tenure.   This is a membership body and applicants are required to complete the online application form.
