Consultant Neonatologist

Dr Sue Broster Consultant in Neonatal Medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Director of the Neonatal and Paediatric Decision Support and Retrieval Service (PaNDR) for the East of England which was formally established in April 2021 bringing together the established neonatal retrieval team with a new paediatric retrieval service to provide specialist critical care transfer services for unwell babies and children across the East of England

During her career Sue has held a number of different roles in addition to her clinical post including Deputy Medical Director at CUH. She is currently seconded to the East of England Specialist Provider Collaborative a group of Trusts who all deliver significant amounts of complex healthcare with a vison to achieve the best outcomes for the population of the East of England by delivering high quality specialised care as close to home as possible

She has a long standing commitment to Global Health and is Global Officer for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and a member of Cambridge Global Health Committee.
