Dr Sunil Gupta

Sunil is a GP in Essex, a GP Trainer and an Examiner for the Royal College of General Practitioners. He is an Associate Postgraduate GP Dean for Mid and South Essex and a Tutor at the Institute of Continuing Education, University of Cambridge.

His previous roles include Accountable Officer of Castle Point and Rochford CCG (2012-14), Clinical Advisor on Dementia for NHS England Midlands and East Region (2014-16) and a member of the UK Council of the RCGP (2015-24).

He has also been Chair of Castle Point and Rochford CCG (2019-22), Chair of NICE Quality Standards Advisory Committe (2022-24) and a Trustee of the Queen's Nursing Institute (2007-10)

He is a Member of the Advisory Committee on Resource Allocation, a Member of the East of England Primary Care Board and a Clinical Adviser for NICE.
